Verka Sekulovska is a Special Counsel in the Sydney office of Greenwoods & Freehills Pty Limited.

Industry Experience

Verka joined Greenwoods & Freehills in 1992 and advises on a wide range of corporate and trust tax matters across various industries, including property, funds management, construction and investment. Her particular focus is on the property sector and clients include many of the large listed property groups.

 

She is involved in all facets of advisory and compliance matters, including undertaking high level reviews, management of due diligence investigations and trust and corporate re-organisations. She is also responsible for the day-to-day advisory and compliance affairs of a number of large trust, corporate and stapled security groups.

Professional Background

Verka holds Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Sydney.

 

She is a Practising Solicitor, a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and also a Fellow Member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
